This knife is one of my all time favorite knives, I hand forged the blade from W2 high carbon steel and then differential heat treated the blade, so the hamon on this blade is authentic and prominent, the differential heat treating allows the blades lower 1/3 to be extremely hard, while the spine and body of the blade are softer and more flexible, what this does is give you an extremely tough and sharp blade the handle is made of an exotic hardwood Burl
this little knife is not only strong and sharp, but a example of beauty and toughness in a small package that will give years of reliable service
